Become a Landlord with FWHS

Fort Worth Housing Solutions (FWHS) is recruiting property owners with rental properties in the City of Fort Worth and surrounding areas to participate in the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program.

This program has the same obligations and restrictions as renting under the private, unassisted market. The biggest difference is the Housing Quality Standards (HQS) inspection requirements and the HUD lease addendum that must be attached to the property owner’s lease.

Interested in becoming a FWHS landlord? View our online Landlord Orientation Presentation below. Landlord Orientation attendance is required and are held in person on the second Tuesday of each month (except for December) at 10 a.m. We look forward to seeing you at 1407 Texas St., Fort Worth, 76102.

How HCV Program Works?

FWHS voucher families pay approximately 30% of their adjusted monthly income for rent and FWHS pays the other portion directly to the landlord. FWHS voucher clients are responsible for adhering to your lease requirements including maintaining their homes, along with remaining in good standing with FWHS voucher program requirements.
