Fort Worth Housing Solutions celebrated the Family Self-Sufficiency and Homeownership Awards Ceremony on Dec. 4 at the Amon Carter Center at Lena Pope. FSS enjoyed 37 graduates and paid out $268,086.91 in escrow, while 16 closings took place in the Homeownership program during 2024.
Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) graduates:
- Increased earned income by finding suitable employment
- Participated in training programs
- Attended enrichment classes
- Remained diligent in their pursuit of success
FWHS Homeowners:
- Used Housing Choice Voucher to purchase a home
- Attended credit, budgeting and home-buyer classes to become knowledgeable about and competitive in the housing market
