‘Bivens Place’ Selected as Name for final Housing Phase of Stop Six Choice Neighborhood, Voting for Logo Design Open

Fort Worth, Texas — A strong leader in Fort Worth, Ms. Gyna Bivens held her seat as the city council representative from District 5 from 2013-2025. During her tenure on council, she also held the position of Mayor Pro-Tem. She was a fierce advocate for her community and a longtime friend of the housing authority.

Ms. Bivens played an instrumental role in garnering support for the Stop Six Choice Neighborhood Initiative. In her honor, Fort Worth Housing Solutions will name the last phase of housing in the initiative “Bivens Place.”

Her legacy will be felt in Stop Six and throughout Fort Worth for generations to come.
