Dear Fort Worth Housing Solutions community,
I pray that you are healthy and well.
As our nation continues to grapple with the effect of COVID-19 and the national movement to end racial injustice, please know that Fort Worth Housing Solutions remains committed to creating safe, diverse and affordable communities that allow our clients to flourish.
This summer marks a milestone for Fort Worth Housing Solutions. Soon, all residents of the Cavile Place housing community will have relocated to affordable housing units across our city, and our agency will begin moving forward with the Stop Six Choice Neighborhood initiative, a redevelopment plan made possible through a $35 million U.S. Housing and Urban Development grant our community won in April.
By year’s end, all residents of the Butler Place community will have moved to other homes of choice throughout the community. The site is envisioned for a future catalytic development, a transaction that will generate new revenue to help our agency increase affordable housing options in our community.
We are grateful to partner with you during this transformative time.
Our team is examining what tangible steps we can take to ensure that our agency, services and housing opportunities are inclusive and serve all members of our community in the best possible way.
Please enjoy this month’s helpful updates on programs, services and initiatives below.
You are the reason we exist.
