Programs for Children and Youth

Boys & Girls Club of Greater Fort Worth

We partner with The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Fort Worth to provide on-site, year-round programs for children who live at both Cavile Place and Butler Place apartments.  At both locations, the club has a basketball court, teen room, recreation room and a computer lab.  A variety of activities and programs center around Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles and Positive Citizenship.  The organization also provides tutoring and social activities throughout the year. During the summer, lunch and snacks are provided, and during the academic year the program provides snacks and dinner.

Student Scholarships

Founded by a long-time FWHS president, the Barbara Holston Education Fund helps to make college or vocational education more accessible to students of all ages whom we serve. Offered every year, the fund offers scholarships to eligible participants who are pursuing an Associate, Bachelor’s or post-graduate degree or vocational certificate.
