Fort Worth Housing Solutions is searching for good landlords who want to help individuals and families find safe, affordable housing with a guaranteed payment stream and is offering a $500 signing bonus for new landlords who contract with the agency between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31.
To qualify, the property owner may not have contracted with FWHS during the previous three years and must sign a FWHS Housing Assistance Payment contract for the Housing Choice Voucher Program by Dec. 31, 2020. The program will continue while funding remains available.
FWHS landlords benefit in many ways:
- Prompt rental payments directly deposited into your bank account each month
- Adjustments made to FWHS portion of rent if a voucher holder’s income is reduced and reported timely
- Regular inspection of units
- Requirement that voucher holders take a “Good Neighbor/Good Tenant” class.
